Sound and its many wonderful manifestations, and its inherent power to heal, to create, to soothe and to destroy

Part I

What is sound? According to physics, sound is any vibration that can travel through a medium - such as air, water or gas - that can be heard when it reaches human or animal ears, or a form of energy  that results  from the vibration of objects and travels in waves.

These are the two most common definitions of sound, and yet they both leave one wanting for more; inductively we feel that there is more to sound than just these definitions. I remember when going to high school, long time ago, there was this running question about sound “ if a tree falls in the forest and there is no one to hear it does it makes a sound”? Of course according to its definition the teacher would argue that it didn’t; nonetheless I never bought that argument. Back then I didn’t know why but it just did not feel right. Now I can understand why: ears are not the only instruments for hearing and now we know for example that bone induction is one of the means that can be used for the clinically deaf to “hear”. I suspect that our skin is also susceptible to distinguishing the pressure differential emitted by waves or vibrations.

Sound is so primordial in creation that even holy texts such as the bible declare: “ In the beginning was the Word, and it was with God and it was God”… and nothing was created without it”.

Of course for theologians this has a total different meaning that I am not going to get into, but for the point I am trying to convey about the inherent power of creation in sound this is a very important point, because it clearly denotes that nothing can be created without sound.

Types of sound: As we know, everything that moves or vibrates has a sound that we humans can or cannot hear depending on the frequencies generated by such sound. If it is within our human range we can certainly hear it, but if below or above our range we can not “hear it”, but for some more sensitive organisms they can hear or feel such frequencies.

One of the most pleasant forms of sound is the spoken word and the ability that humans and animals have in communicating with each other by using some form of sound. The effect that the spoken word has in our daily life both in its positive and negative forms. And perhaps the most pleasant form of sound is … music, which is the sound produced by one or many musical instruments playing together. The effect of which is so powerful that Confucious once said “ Tell me what type of music a kingdom listens to and I can tell you with certitude how long such Kingdom  will last” this is such a powerful statement, coming from one of the wisest person in the world and one that certainly can guide us when selecting the type of music we choose to listen to.

Pythagoras said: “There is geometryin the humming of the strings, there is music in the spacing of the spheres.” He was very aware that every moving body produces sound and that the planets where not an exception, and therefore claimed they produced beautiful sounds which he later named “the music of the spheres”.

Properties of sound:  Sound as we know it has inherent properties. Some are very well known and others not well known, and some even totally unknown properties. For the purpose of this blog I will focus on the two best known properties of sound and how they can be used for so many constructive uses.

Frequency: Frequency is defined as the amount of oscillations per unit of time, but generally speaking oscillations or cycles per second. And oscillations are rhythmic and repetitive movement woven in the fabric of creations (such as the waves in the sea).

Resonance: Generally speaking is the most important aspect of sound as we will study it, because of its ability to amplify sound and magnify its healing as well as destroying effect.

Resonance is defined as the phenomenon of matching an object’s inherent frequency, causing an amplitude of such frequency therefore increasing is potential. One example of this is a wave in the ocean, when similar waves match the resulting height of the wave will increase and this is called amplitude. I

It’s the cause behind the wine cup shattering when a soprano reaches the inherent frequency of the cup producing the resonance and increasing the amplitude that will break the glass. Another well known example of this is the fact that marching armies most break the marching steps when crossing a bridge, because if by bad luck they match the inherent frequency of the bridge then resonance will occur and with it the increase in amplitude of the frequency can cause the bridge foundation to crumble.

In the book of Joshua in the bible there is a story of the walls of Jericho crumbling by marching around the walls and blowing the trumpets for 7 days. Finally the walls crumbled and allow the army to conquer Jericho. It is my understanding that the pure power of resonance caused the walls to crumble.

Using the power of sound to heal by using the power of resonance

Royal Rife: American inventor of the first High Magnification Micrography microscope. First hailed as a great inventor when he was able to diagnose steel stress for the big railroad companies but then discredited when he was able to observe viruses under his microscope without the use of isotopes which kill the viruses therefore not allowing researchers to truly see what can destroy this viruses. At the beginning the medical establishment was not worried about him, but he was able to heal 95% of cancer patients that were considered incurables by the  medical establishment and the way he did it was by finding the resonance of every type of viruses and use a 180 degrees out of phase resonance that would literally make the viruses explode. He was also the first person to see the correlation to viruses and cell mutation that would cause the cancer. The point here is that Rife was able to use resonance to destroy the pathogens that were causing the mutations and reverse cases in which all hope had been given up. Note: there are many fakes today claiming they have Mr. Rife’s device but do not have it. According to one account as he was harassed with law suits he gave his formulas to a Russian collaborator which then left the USA concerned for his safety and apparently he had the working model of Rife’s Microscope as well as his Frequency  generator.
